Encore une fois cette année!
People on Protection Island have been helping a small village, in Sierra Leone, to deal with health issues in the last years. To achieve their goal they organize a fund raising event here on the Island. Participants pay an entrance fee and there is a silent auction with many items. To my understanding everything happening there is on a volunteer base: help to run the event, all the pieces in the auction, food, musicians and more.
On this short Blog I will simply, again, list some photos. This is all about the beautiful people there.

J'ai eu la chance de participer à une activité de levée de fonds bien spéciale en cette belle et chaude journée du 2 Septembre dernier. Quelques résidents de l'île Protection, où je résides, sont impliqués dans un projet humanitaire assez important. Il s'agit de fournir des services de santé dans une série de villages au Sierra Leone en Afrique de l'ouest. L'événement était totalement conçu et opéré sous les normes du bénévolat: organisation, tous les items fournis pour un encan silencieux, l'excellente nourriture, les merveilleux musiciens et plus encore. Ce seul événement sur notre toute petite île réussis à amasser plusieurs milliers de dollars.
Dans ce petit Blog je ne vais que vous montrer quelques photos prises avec comme thème les belles personnes présentes.

This fundraising event was centred around a silent auction, the tables were set with the nice offerings.
Of course there was high quality entertainment!

And of course there were lots of beautiful people enjoying the perfect weather for the perfect event.
I am sure the team who organized this fantastic fundraising event are thankful to all these people and the many more I could not take a picture of.
The silent auction reserved a nice surprise for one of the item. 2 generous donors competed all along the afternoon for this Bolliwood Night event!
